About the Role

We're hiring Policy Officers at various levels to support key reforms in consumer affairs, rental policy, and fair trading. You'll help shape legislation, develop policy advice, and work with stakeholders to deliver government priorities. Strong communication, policy experience, and collaboration skills are essential. Leadership and project management experience are valued for senior roles.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert policy advice to the Minister and senior leaders.
• Lead or support policy and legislative reform projects.
• Prepare briefings, Cabinet submissions, and regulatory documents.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform policy.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate across government.
• Senior roles include team leadership and program oversight.

• Skilled in leading complex projects aligned with government priorities.
• Adaptable, resilient, and outcomes focused.
