About the role

Due to continuous growth, we require a qualified, enthusiastic Service technician with a view to long-term growth within our company.

The Service Technicians are an integral part of the Service Team, responsible for carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding. Whilst workshop based there will be opportunity to go into the field.

The successful applicant will have an appropriate level of mechanical knowledge and ability. Experience with small diesel and petrol engines, a strong willingness to support our growing Queensland clientele, be a small team player and want to become a valuable and long-term member of our Queensland team.

This is a diverse and challenging role suited to applicants who enjoy working on a wide variety of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to

Master all the functions of the equipment that the company sells and services as well as the application of each machine within different industry segments.

Maintain a highly professional presentation with our customers and our suppliers.

Complete detailed Service Reports relating to service work, listing parts used, labour hours, and work performed.

Product training will be provided

Reporting to the Aftermarket Manager

Work in both field and workshop.

About you

You must have

Appropriate Mechanical trade qualification

Auto electrical tradesperson with high-level mechanical experience considered

Experience working on small diesel and petrol engines

Working with pumps experience preferred

Be able to travel interstate with sufficient notice if required to do so.

Highly desirable

Restricted Electrical Worker’s License

Advantageous

Forklift license

Petrol and Diesel Small motors experience

Salary range - $40 -$45 per hour. (Subject to qualifications)
