About us

At the Office of the Auditor General (OAG), we take pride in being WA’s independent auditor of public sector finances and performance. Our purpose is to build transparency, trust, and accountability, ensuring public services work effectively for the people of Western Australia.

Our Information Systems Audit team supports our Financial Audit unit by delivering impactful general computer audits across State and local government and tertiary institutions. We also conduct specialist application control and IT focus audits, equipping Parliament with crucial insights to strengthen public sector information and cyber security.
