At the Office of the Auditor General (OAG), we take pride in being WA’s independent auditor of public sector finances and performance. Our purpose is to build transparency, trust, and accountability, ensuring public services work effectively for the people of Western Australia.

Each year, our financial audit team takes on over 300 audits across public sector entities –from State and local government entities to universities and TAFEs. We deliver trusted insights to Parliament, turning audits into actions that help build public confidence and shape a brighter future for WA.
