CNC Machinist/Programmer

TRS Resourcing is sourcing and screening for a Trade Qualified Machinist to fill a full-time permanent position on behalf of our client, based in Dandenong South. Our client is a leading provider of bulk material handling conveying solutions.

You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise will be key in ensuring efficiency and precision in the manufacturing process.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Have extensive experience using manual lathes, milling machines, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding etc.
• Programming and setting up CNC machines (Mill, Lathe, or both)
• Experience in manual machining is favourable
• Perform assembly duties on machines or parts
• Measuring and reading from job slips and technical drawings
• Regular maintenance of the CNC Router daily and weekly
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, preferably Mastercam
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
