We are excited to have on offer two, entry-level roles as Travel Consultant Trainees at Helloworld Travel in Mt Ommaney or Helloworld Travel Carindale. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert travel advice to clients, helping them plan their dream holidays.

This role is suitable for someone who wants a long-term career path in travel industry

Position is suitable candidate with passion for travel, ability to learn on the job, work under pressure and ability to convert an enquiry in to a sale . This position gives a opportunity to learn and excel a career as a travel agent. In this role, you will learn destinations, products, building customer relationships and sales techniques. You will be doing self-educational, online training as well as in-house training. Through on-the-job training and mentoring, you will develop your skills in travel planning, booking, and customer relationship management.

Ideally you must be confident selling tailor made holiday packages, cruise packages, tours, airfares and putting together bespoke itineraries for our customers. Building customer relationships and satisfaction will be critical to your success in this role.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised travel planning and booking services to customers

Researching and recommending the best travel options to meet customer needs

Arranging flights, accommodation, tours, and other travel components

Ensuring customers receive accurate information and a seamless booking experience

Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and bookings

Continuously expanding your knowledge of destinations, travel products, and industry trends

Delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting client relationships

What we're looking for

Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills

Keen interest in the travel industry and a passion for helping people plan their holidays

Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive work environment

Proficient in using technology, including travel booking systems and computer applications

Willingness to learn and expand your travel industry knowledge

Relevant qualifications or experience in travel, tourism, or customer service preferred
