About the role

Peach Interiors is seeking an experienced Interior Documenter to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. As an Interior Documenter, you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into detailed, constructible documentation. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative, collaborative, and growing design studio.

What you'll be doing

Translate design ideas and concepts into comprehensive, accurate, and detailed interior documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and schedules

Render plans, elevations and 3Ds

Design Development of Presentation packs, Tender Sets and mood boards

Collaborate closely with designers, architects, project managers, and clients to ensure the successful execution of interior projects

Conduct site visits and site measurements to inform the documentation process

Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve design and construction-related issues

Maintain and update project documentation throughout the design and construction phases

Participate in design team meetings and contribute to the overall design process

What we're looking for

Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in interior documentation, preferably in a design studio or architectural practice - Hospitality Design experience preferred

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Suite and other relevant design software

Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines

Demonstrates strong communication, verbal and written

Teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

Passion for design, creativity, and a desire to contribute to the growth of a dynamic design studio
