Job Summary

Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and designs for commercial fitout projects, ensuring they meet client needs and project goals.

Create detailed design presentations, including mood boards, floor plans, 3D renderings, and material specifications.

Develop drawing packages for approval

Work collaboratively with project managers, Site Staff, Directors and contractors to ensure design vision is effectively implemented.

Conduct site visits to assess spaces, identify design opportunities, and ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the project.

Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that align with design objectives and budget constraints.

Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, Food safety standards

Communicate with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the design process.

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design drawings and specifications

About The Opportunity

This is an exceptional career opportunity for a dynamic Interior Designer to join a team of dedicated and passionate professionals, entrusted with the following:

Collaborate closely with clients and the wider team to determine key project objectives.

Deliver innovative and pragmatic design concepts, encompassing space planning, furniture layout, lighting schemes, and material choices.

Use advanced design software to generate intricate 2/3D visualizations, floor plans, and elevations.

Present clients with design proposals, seamlessly integrating their feedback and making necessary adjustments.

Craft comprehensive documentation, including design specifications and construction drawings, to guide project realisation.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in interior design or a related field.

Experience as an interior designer, preferably with commercial placemaking exposure.

Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic mindset.

Proficiency in Google Suite, AutoCad, Revit and Sketchup.
