Principal Software Engineer – Platform & Mobile

At woolloo, we’re redefining how consumer goods companies connect with their customers, powering retail execution with cutting-edge tech. We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer – Platform & Mobile to lead the evolution of our platform. You’ll manage one other developer and work closely with the Founder and Technical Product Manager, but this is still a very hands-on engineering role—you’ll spend most of your time in the code.

Your Impact

Codebase Custodian: Own and evolve the full codebase—a dynamic, high-usage platform serving thousands of users. You’ll ensure performance, scalability, and code quality stay world-class.

Platform Architect: Make the big decisions across Salesforce LWC, Swift, Kotlin, AWS, GCP and .NET. Balance short-term execution with long-term technical vision.

Hands-On Engineering: You’ll write, debug, refactor, and optimize code every day. This is not a hands-off leadership role—it’s deep-in-the-engine room.

Lightweight Team Leadership: You’ll guide and mentor one other developer, providing technical direction and helping them level up through example.

API Integration Lead: Design and maintain clean, scalable integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems.

Mobile App Champion: Architect and build mobile experiences using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) that users love.

Product Partner: Collaborate directly with the Founder and Technical Product Manager to translate vision into rock-solid technical execution.

What Makes You a Fit

5+ years of strong engineering experience across Salesforce, Swift, Kotlin, AWS, GCP and .NET

A proven track record building scalable, enterprise-grade platforms

Deep understanding of API design and integration in complex environments

Solid experience building mobile apps across iOS and Android

You’ve worked with AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS) and GCP (BigQuery, GKE)

You’re confident in data wrangling and shaping data for analytics

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills—performance is your obsession

You’ve mentored or led other developers and know how to guide without micromanaging

You’re hands-on, practical, and care about delivering meaningful outcomes—not job titles
