About the role

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our growing medical practice, Glengala Health, located in Sunshine West, Victoria. As a full-time or part time GP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to our diverse patient community. What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing referrals to specialists as needed

Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant medical and legal regulations

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and allied health providers, to coordinate patient care

Actively participating in the ongoing development and improvement of our medical practice

Providing after-hours on-call support and emergency care as required

What we're looking for

Registration as a General Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing GP, preferred in a community-based medical practice

Strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and treat a diverse range of medical conditions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

Commitment to providing patient-centred care and upholding the highest standards of professional ethics

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology
