About the role

Mermaid Plaza Medical and Cosmetics Centre is seeking an experienced, qualified VR GP to join our dynamic and growing practice in Mermaid Beach, QLD. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated medical professional to provide high-quality primary healthcare services to our diverse patient community.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive general practice care, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions

Conducting thorough patient consultations, assessments, and examinations

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as needed

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans

Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare providers when appropriate

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records

Participating in regular practice meetings and professional development activities

Collaborating with the broader healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of patient care

What we're looking for

Completion of a recognised medical degree and registration as a General Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and patient-centred care

Demonstrated experience in maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
