Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in finance, procurement, and project delivery. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with demonstrated capability in managing budgets, overseeing government procurement processes, and delivering projects using Agile or PRINCE2 methodologies.

Key Duties:

Finance & Budget Management

• Develop, manage and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports..
• Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards.

Procurement & Contract Management

• Lead procurement processes in alignment with government regulations and procurement policies.
• Manage contract negotiations, vendor engagement, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Ensure procurement governance, risk management, and compliance requirements are met.

Project Management

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Apply Agile or PRINCE2 methodologies to manage and deliver projects efficiently.
• Prepare and maintain all required project artefacts (e.g., project plans, change requests, reports).
• Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

To be successful, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience with Technology One CiA for financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong procurement experience, with a Certificate IV in Government Contracting and Procurement.
• Proven success in delivering projects, with certifications in Agile and/or PRINCE2.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong understanding of government financial and procurement legislation, policies, and procedures
