About the role:
This position is part of Digital Health Foundations Program which is undertaking a significant uplift of Department of Health’s ICT infrastructure environment.
Major projects of the program include:
Relocation of Department’s Data Centre Relocation
Remediation of ICT Communication Rooms across the major hospitals
Deployment of enterprise grade network and Wi-Fi at hospitals and health centre facilities across the State
Upliftment of legacy Mobile Duress service at Mental Health Service locations and migrating Department’s network observability system.
Experience / Skills:
Expertise in strategic project planning and execution, adept at managing complex ICT projects to achieve desired outcomes effectively.
Exceptional ability to manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among stakeholders at various organisational levels.
Expertise in proactively managing project risks, implementing robust mitigation strategies, and ensuring project resilience and success.
Advanced financial management skills, capable of maximising ROI through efficient resource allocation and budget Optimisation.
Leadership in driving continuous improvement in quality assurance processes, ensuring high-quality project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Exceptional communication and reporting skills, providing strategic insights and recommendations through comprehensive project reporting.
Strategic vendor management skills, optimising vendor performance, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
Expertise in leading change management initiatives, driving successful adoption of new technologies and processes, and mitigating resistance to change.
Experience with ICT network infrastructure and cabling.
Duties / Skills:
Strategically develop and refine project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Lead stakeholder management efforts, managing diverse stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
Expertly manage project risks, proactively identifying potential disruptions and implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Lead budget and resource management efforts, optimising financial allocation and resource utilisation to achieve project objectives effectively.
Drive quality assurance initiatives, ensuring delivery of high-quality digital health solutions that exceed customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Ensure transparency and accountability through comprehensive project reporting, providing strategic insights and recommendations for project optimisation.
Strategically manage vendor relationships, optimising contract terms, monitoring performance against SLAs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead change management initiatives, driving adoption of new technologies and processes across healthcare organisations, and mitigate resistance to change.
