Interlec is an Electrical Construction company seeking experienced “hands on” Electrical Construction Supervisor to work primarily within the Industrial Electrical sector on projects throughout regional and metropolitan Western Australia.

This role is not suited to persons wanting OFFSHORE OIL & GAS WORK.

· Rate equivalent to $90+ per hour including company vehicle and allowances.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

· Must live in Perth, Western Australia.

· Ability to work in regional areas and the Perth CBD.

· On the tools ability essential.

· 5 years Supervisory experience in the Electrical Contracting Industry.

· Must have sound knowledge of ALL aspects of Heavy Industrial Electrical Construction applications.

· Ability to train, lead and mentor work crews.

· Sound experience and ability to carry out wiring and FAT & SAT testing of Switchboards, MCC, Local Control Station and Motor Control Equipment.

· Sound experience to complete material take-offs and ordering.

· Excellent schematic, control and single line drawing experience with some electrical design capability.

· Sound experience of managing Regulatory Compliance procedures.

· Sound working knowledge of and application of AS/NZS3000 and AS/NZS3017.

· Sound working knowledge of and be able to undertake Electrical Testing, Inspection and Verification, Commissioning to Australian Standards and Client Scopes and Specifications.

· Excellent personal attributes and high attention to detail, with the ability to liaise with clients, management, electrical inspecting authorities.

· Excellent computer skills and handwritten skills.

· Sound knowledge of all construction installation applications.

· Self-managing and planning abilities, with capability of meeting and adhering to strict contractual deadlines.

· Ability to work under tight schedules and time constraints.

· Sound working knowledge in the creation and completion of ITP's and ITR's.

· Positive can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously.

· Full tool kit.

What qualifications and other requirements you need:-

· All certifications, licenses to be current.

· WA Electrical Licence.

· White Card.

· Current WA Drivers Licence (manual essential).

· EEHA Certification is favourable but not essential.

· EWP.

· Confined Space.

· First Aid.

· Working at Heights.

· Able to pass Daily Drug & Alcohol Testing.

· Able to pass Pre-Employment Medical examination.
