Full time position at La Jolla Cafe - open Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:00pm

Are you passionate about coffee and love working in a fast-paced, customer focussed environment? We're on the lookout for a friendly, reliable and experienced All-Rounder Barista to join our team. As an all rounder barista, you'll be doing more than just making a great cup of coffee. We're looking for someone who can:

Prepare high quality coffee and other beverages

Deliver excellent customer service with a smile, get to know our regulars (we're not a regular cafe, we know about our customers lives and they love a chat with our staff!)

Assist with food prep and handling

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the cafe

Handle POS and manage cash/card transactions

Support the team in all areas of daily cafe operations

We'd love to meet someone who:

Has previous experience in a similar barista or cafe all-rounder role

Has knowledge and passion towards coffee making

Is able to work with La Marzocco coffee machine and adequate knowledge about grinders

Has the ability to troubleshoot coffee machinery

Can work well under pressure, learn quickly and multitask efficiently

Has strong communication and people skills, being bubbly is a plus!

Brings a positive attitude and team spirit

Is reliable, punctual and flexible
