At Connected 2 Country Allied Health Pty Ltd (C2CAH) we are an allied health provider that delivers culturally appropriate NDIS services to very remote indigenous communities across Cape York, Torres Strait and the Gulf of Carpentaria regions of Queensland, Australia.

We are a small family business who aim to make a difference within the beautiful and unique communities that we work alongside to empower and have established close relationships with. We work within a predominantly paediatric population presentation but given the very remote nature of our service, we also support a mixed adult disability caseload as referred. C2CAH are looking for Speech Pathologists to join our small but growing multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Physiotherapists.

We are looking for passionate professionals who understand the complexities of delivering face-to-face services in very remote communities, who are flexible and adaptable within their approach, and who demonstrate high levels of autonomy in managing their caseload.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent) with 2 years clinical experience (desirable)

Eligibility for Certified Practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia (Current)

Blue Card or equivalent (Current)

NDIS Worker Screening - Yellow Card (Current)

First Aid and CPR Certificate (desirable)

Experience delivering evidence based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent, and adult caseload (Desirable)

A commitment to continuing professional growth and development

Experience utilising Zanda (previously Power Diary) practice management software or equivalent cloud based platform (desirable)

Tasks & responsibilities

Delivering face-to-face NDIS Speech Pathology Services in very remote communities of the Torres Strait and Cape York regions of Queensland via a Fly-In and Fly-Out Multidisciplinary Team model with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

80% Paediatric and 20% Adult Caseload

You will be required to perform assessments, deliver ongoing therapies, complete all reporting requirements, and to trial and script appropriate assistive technologies/AAC (AT).

Positions available for an immediate start or flexible start dates to come and join our growing team.

Flexible full-time working arrangements between travelling fly in/fly out working weeks and working from home non-travelling working weeks.

Living Away from Home Allowance: $131.50 per day (tax-free) travel allowance paid for working days completed in remote communities.

Be based anywhere in Queensland with travel to/from remote locations remunerated.

We provide up to a $5,000.00 p.a. professional development allowance that includes external supervision
