About the role
Ayes Health are seeking a full-time Qualified Speech Pathologist to join our allied health team in Austral, NSW. New Graduate and Early Career Speech pathologists are encouraged to apply! As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language services to our patients, helping to improve their communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life. What you'll be doing
Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing difficulties in patients of all ages
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, psychologists and physiotherapists, to provide holistic care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech, language, and swallowing disorders and provide strategies for management
Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation to ensure the highest standard of patient care
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices
What we're looking for
Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
Registered or eligible for registration with the Speech Pathology Australia
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Willingness to be apart of social media content (We value education and want to outreach globally by educating through social media content and we would love you to be apart of it)
