About Our Client
Our client is a trusted leader in the electromechanical services industry, delivering specialised solutions for rotating electrical equipment across a wide range of sectors, including mining, utilities, and heavy industry. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and reliable service, they provide expert maintenance, repairs, and overhauls for motors, generators, and other critical assets.
About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of an Electrical Workshop Manager to join our esteemed client's team, based in Landsdale. This position is a full-time permanent position with our client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and support a small team in a busy electric motor workshop
Carry out AC and DC motor overhauls and repairs
Perform AC motor rewinding as needed
Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to junior staff
Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Skills and Experience:
Trade qualified Fitter or similar
Strong experience with AC and DC motor repairs, overhauls, and rewinding
Solid understanding of electromechanical systems and workshop processes
Ability to lead and mentor a small team
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
