About the Role: We're looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer to join our growing Operations & Maintenance team. This is an exciting chance to utilise your technical skills to manage, maintain, and enhance renewable energy assets, particularly solar farms and battery storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on utility-scale solar and battery systems.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues promptly and effectively.

Develop, refine, and implement maintenance plans and reliability programs.

Analyse asset performance and recommend optimisation strategies to enhance system efficiency.

Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless operational execution.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Manage the creation, tracking, and closure of work orders through the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System), ensuring timely execution of preventative and corrective tasks.

Conduct remote operation and control of generation assets, optimising electrical system performance to minimise downtime and maximise availability.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify reliability improvement opportunities, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues, and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain accurate documentation and prepare performance and maintenance reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

At least 2-5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, ideally within renewable energy.

Experience with LV/HV solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated electrical infrastructure.

Knowledge of Australian electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
