Direct Focus Solutions (DFS) is a multidisciplinary practice providing allied health services, disability and community supports, and an extensive range of clinical therapies. We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our clinical team as a speech pathologist. This is an entry-level position and recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
In this role, you will work remotely for the organisation, travelling to clients within the NSW Central West to deliver in-person speech pathology services, and collaborating online with members of our Sydney-based practice.
As a speech pathologist under Direct Focus Solutions, you will join a team of qualified practitioners across diverse fields such as occupational therapy, social work, behaviour support, and psychology. You will work together to achieve best clinical practice at all times, support clients of all ages and expressions, and promote meaningful changes in their lives.
This role entails working with a diverse range of clients in the NSW Central West across a number of settings such as client homes, schools, and other locations within the local community. Our clinical team is committed to supporting each other to achieve registration and accreditation with a number of initiatives we support, including Medicare, Victims Services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Workers Compensation, and the NDIS.

Requirements:
Qualifications with approved degrees in Speech Pathology / Speech Therapy
Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
Paediatric and/or adult Speech Pathology experience
Ability to work remotely and travel to clients to facilitate in-person service delivery
Ability to provide individualised, outcome-oriented interventions and individually-tailored supports to children and adults
Experience working with children and adults with disabilities (such as autism)
Applicants must also possess, or be willing to obtain the following, prior to employment:
Driver’s License and own vehicle
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
NDIS Worker’s Check (NDISWC)
Police Check
Applicants will be supported by DFS to receive any additional documentation or registration that may be required in line with any necessary initiatives.
