ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a market leading company specialising in a diverse suite of products used within the FMCG sector. They are looking to appoint an IT & Systems Coordinator to their team in the western suburbs and keen to support their drive for best practice in all systems. ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for all facets of their Information Technology, Network and Systems. It is expected that you will initially conduct a gap analysis of where the company is (risks regarding IT and security) where they need to be in terms of both ISO standard and generally expected levels. Key responsibilities for this position are as follows.

• Provide Level 1–2 support to internal office-based users (30), with broader visibility over site-wide systems
• Monitor, escalate and validate work carried out by MSPs and third-party vendors
• Oversee and verify infrastructure maintenance (e.g., patching, backups, firewall configuration)
• Assist in technology upgrades and process improvements aligned to business growth
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the business — from the manufacturing team to senior management
• Act as a bridge between business needs and external IT service delivery
• Contribute to our future IT strategy, including cloud readiness and improved cybersecurity posture

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this position, you will be an experienced and confident IT generalist who brings a broad range of skills and well-developed knowledge of IT systems, networking and protocols, having worked in a similar role. Ideally tertiary educated in the field, other key competencies include.

• Sound understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, firewalls, backups, etc.)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and/or Azure services
• Strong vendor management skills — able to engage with and hold MSPs accountable
• Experience or exposure to ISO 27001 principles or similar cybersecurity frameworks
• Ability to communicate confidently across all levels of the business
• Calm under pressure, highly organised, and delivery-focused
