About the role

NewSpark Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across our residential and commercial projects. What you'll be doing

• Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial properties
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and tasks
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed
• Comply with all relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies

What we're looking for

• Qualified electrician with a current electrical licence
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a qualified electrician, preferably in a similar role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools
