About the role:

Grow your career in our small inclusive team as an Electrician and or Dual Trade Electrician/Refrigeration Mechanic. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this permanent full-time role includes:
- Install, terminate and test electrical systems such as power, lighting and switchboards in predominantly commercial and light industrial sectors
- Install, repair and maintain Air-Conditioning systems in the residential and commercial sectors
- Install, repair and maintain Security systems (CCTV, Alarms, Access Control) in the commercial sector
- Lead and supervise apprentices
- Responsible for onsite quality control
- Report all unsafe practices, hazards, injuries and incidents immediately to our Managing Director
- Ensure compliance to all relevant Australian regulations, and standards
- Periodic travel for work is required and includes all relevant allowances

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Qualified Electrician (Mandatory) with a Dual Trade in Refrigeration (Desirable) and have a current Australian Work Visa/ Residency/ Citizenship. You will also need the following:

- Current full and unrestricted manual driver’s licence for Australia
- Cert. III in Electrotechnology (Mandatory)
- Queensland Electrical Workers Licence (Fitter and Mechanic)
- Commercial construction electrical installation experience
- Experience working as a team player that contributes to positive work culture and can work autonomously
- Proven reliability and punctual attendance at work
- Cert. II in Heat pumps and Split Systems (Mandatory)
- Cert. III in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (Desirable)
- Current QBCC Occupational workers Licence (Desirable)
- Current ACMA Cabling Licence with Structured Cabling and Coaxial Endorsements (Desirable)
- Class 2 Security Providers Licence (Desirable)
