🔍 The Opportunity

We're growing and need a self-motivated, physically fit and safety-focused team member to join us in a hands-on, outdoor field-based role. You’ll work across rail corridors in NSW and Victoria—cutting, clearing, fencing, spraying, and operating tools and equipment as needed.

Most weeks you’ll be away Monday–Thursday (yes, we pay a generous living away allowance and cover accommodation).

This is an entry-level role with plenty of room to grow—if you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and learn.

✅ What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have it all—just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

Full Australian working rights

A good level of fitness and the ability to pass drug & alcohol testing

A White Card (or willing to get one)

A current MR or HR licence (or working towards it)

Some mechanical aptitude or experience with tools/machinery

A strong commitment to safety

A readiness to travel and stay away up to 4 nights a week

Based in or willing to relocate to Cootamundra

🎓 Don’t Have Rail Qualifications Yet?

No stress. If you're the right person, we’ll support you financially to get essential qualifications like:

Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC)

Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card

We’ll help you work toward desirable extras too (chainsaw, first aid, chem cert, etc.).

You’ll be supported by a buddy system, with weekly check-ins and a 3-month review to keep your progress on track.
