Job Title: Financial Planning Associate/Junior Adviser

In this role, you'll have the chance to enhance your financial planning knowledge and work toward transitioning into a Junior Financial Adviser position. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the senior advisers with research, modelling, and calculations to create financial strategies.

Attending client meetings to provide support and follow-up work.

Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of advice documents.

Support the implementation of financial strategies.

Building strong, trusting relationships with clients, investment platforms, insurers, and other key partners.

Proactively addressing client needs and ensuring we maintain high service standards.

Contributing to ongoing improvements in processes and efficiency.

To be successful for this role, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:

Completion or progress toward a relevant university degree.

Experience using relevant financial planning software (Xplan experience preferred) and the ability to quickly learn new software.

Strong knowledge base in financial planning concepts and regulations, including an understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams and investments.

High levels of accuracy, initiative, and a proactive and enthusiastic work ethic.

Ability to build rapport and trust with our team of advisers.

Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
