At Redmen Fire Protection we specialise in fire protection solutions that ensure safety and compliance across commercial and industrial sites throughout Australia. With a growing portfolio of projects, we are looking for a motivated and skilled tradesperson to join our team.

Role Overview:

This role suits someone with a carpentry or construction background who is either experienced or interested in fire passive systems (such as fire-rated walls, penetrations, and sealants). You will be responsible for both installing and inspecting passive fire protection systems to ensure they meet Australian standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation of passive fire systems including fire collars, sealants, wraps, and boards

Inspection and reporting of fire penetrations and compliance issues

Read and interpret construction drawings and fire design plans

Work closely with project managers and clients on compliance requirements

Ensure all work meets AS 4072.1 and NCC requirements

Use of electronic inspection/reporting tools (training provided)

Requirements:

Trade qualification in Carpentry or similar (preferred)

Knowledge of passive fire protection systems (training can be provided)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

White Card and full drives licence

Ability to work independently and in a team

Previous experience in fire protection or commercial fit-out a bonus
