Bold Park Aquatic
Bold Park Aquatic Centre aims to provide a safe and friendly aquatic environment with its programmes and services accessible to a diverse range of patrons. It consists of a 10 lane 50m pool and a semi-enclosed leisure pool which includes four 20m lanes, open all year round.
The Role
Join Bold Park Aquatic as a Pool Supervisor to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Centre and maintain pool and plant operations in accordance with legislative requirements.
They work collaboratively with the Senior Aquatics Service Officer and Bold Park Aquatic team members to provide a high level of customer service and promote the aquatic services of the Centre.
The Town is currently seeking applicants in both a permanent part-time and casual capacity. Applicants are invited to apply for both roles, however, will need to specify which role they would like to be considered for in the application stage.
Selection Criteria
Experience in an aquatic and leisure environment, including sound knowledge of water safety, first aid, resuscitation, rescue techniques and public safety requirements.
Supervision experience in an aquatic and/or leisure environment, including the ability to lead and support staff during busy and challenging periods.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of OH&S regulations, specifically relating to aquatic operations.
Demonstrated knowledge of pool, plant and equipment operations as required in a Group 1 facility, including the use and handling of chemicals and pool chemistry.
Strong people skills, public relations, and customer service skills, including conflict resolution skills.
Sound numeracy and cash handling skills.
Essential:
Pool Operators Certificate (WA)
Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Provide First Aid
Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificates
LIWA Accreditation
National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
Desirable:
Chlorine Gas Handling
Working at Heights certificate
