About the role

We are seeking tech-savvy individuals with attention to detail, numerical skills & accuracy for in-depth assessment of tertiary application data.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Coordinator, a typical week may include any or all of the following:

Undertake assessment tasks associated with the delivery of VTAC services to clients.

Examine and interpret quantitative/qualitative data presented by applicants.

Assess and verify validity and integrity of domestic and overseas educational claims.

Calculate GPAs according to various institutional specific rules and algorithms.

Assign ranks to applicants according to the numerical values of course selection criteria.

Provide advice to institutions on individual assessments relevant to course selection criteria.

Provide excellent customer service by handling inquiries and referring complex issues to the appropriate VTAC staff as needed.

Assist in the review and preparation of written training materials.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist with tasks as directed by the supervisor.

About you

Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks on time with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Capacity to differentiate complex numerical patterns.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills suited to a variety of stakeholders.

Ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and respond positively when resolving issues.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office, and other computer-based records systems and databases.

Experience in, and understanding of, the higher education sector is desirable.

Other requirements:

The successful candidate must have their own personal laptop.

A current and valid Working with Children Check will be required, if successful.
