Financial Accounting Supervisor
Contract to July 2025, potential permanency | $70–78 per hour + super | Regional South West Victoria | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 WFH)

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accounting Supervisor to join our client’s finance team on a contract basis through to July 2025, with potential for permanency. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and contribute to the financial health of a forward-thinking and community-driven organisation.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including Annual Financial Statements, in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and Local Government regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to two finance staff in the delivery of financial statements and other key reporting
• Manage taxation obligations, including the preparation of BAS and FBT returns, and support other financial compliance activities

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance and CA/CPA qualification (or progress toward)
• At least five years of financial and/or management accounting experience
• Previous experience in a public sector, not-for-profit, education, or healthcare setting
• Strong technical knowledge and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset
