They are committed on driving the effectiveness of their support function, and recruiting a capable Financial Accountant for their head-office team will assist in this progression.

Working closely with the Financial Accounting Manager, this broad role will include:

• Preparing reconciliations and journals for the BS and P&L
• Reviewing capex and fixed assets including depreciation
• Preparing and submitting the BAS returns and ABS surveys
• Generating month-end reports including variance analysis commentary
• Working with internal and external auditors as required
• Accounting for payroll and related expenses
• Provide financial advice to department leaders at times
• Back up and support the finance business partners

A solid base of financial accounting and general ledger management within a service focused business shall be important. CPA/CA qualified, you will have solid Excel skills, with Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a bonus. They are keen for an immediate start, and whilst contract with a view to permanent may be appropriate, permanent from day one may be an option.

Rate shall be flexible around your experience, with circa $50 - $55 per hour plus super a guide if contract (or $110-$120k+ super if permanent).

Located on the edge of the CBD, ideally 4 days on the office and 1 from home.
