This position is based in Sydney's CBD offering 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Technical Leadership: Drive code quality and maintainability through clear technical direction and established coding standards
• Architectural Vision: Design scalable and maintainable solutions by defining robust technical architectures and design patterns
• Team Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners, Designers, and Developers to refine tasks and optimize resource allocation based on individual skills and capacity.

To be successful in this position, you must have experience in:

• 5+ Years experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• 8-10 years of experience as a Senior Software engineer or Technical Lead within Financial Services (Mandatory)
• Strong CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling experience
• AWS infrastructure and services (Lambda, EC2, EKS, SQS, RDS)
• Experience with SQL databases, in particular Postgres
• Proficient in applying diverse testing methodologies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), and utilising modern frameworks like Playwright and Cypress to ensure comprehensive test coverage
