Our client is an Australian-owned and operated steel fabricator based in Melbourne's East. They are currently looking for a new member to join their team and assist with both the programming and operating of brake press machines. This company supports a wide range of industries, such as heavy-duty truck manufacturing, caravan construction and defence. They are in a position to hire someone immediately.

Your new role

You will be working as a day shift Brake Press Operators in a team of 10, contributing to the seamless production of high-quality steel products that meet their clients' expectations. Your main responsibilities will be the setting, operating and programming of brake press machines.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced in operating and programming brake press machines with precision and efficiency
  
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
  
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance to keep operations running smoothly
  
• Ability to work independently
  
• Strong focus on safety and quality
