About your new role:

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Brake Press Operators to join our client in Tullamarine. You will be responsible for operating brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal parts to precise specifications. Your role will ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The role will commence on a day shift with the view to eventually move across to an afternoon shift.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Performing manual material handling operations
• Set up, calibrate and operate manual brake press and CNC machines
• Review and follow technical drawings and specifications as required
• Accurately measure, align, and inspect materials to ensure high-quality production standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on brake press machinery as needed
• Work with the production teams to achieve targets and deadlines
• Adhere and comply with WH&S regulations while keeping a clean work environment
• Make sure that all finalised products meet the required quality standards prior to being dispatched

Your skills and experience:

• Experience as a brake press operator (ideally working with Durma machines) within manufacturing
• Ability to control, set and adjust the machines
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Current and valid forklift licence LF (desired but not essential)
• MUST be available Monday to Friday
• MUST be an Australian Citizen or Resident
