We are seeking an Day Shift Experienced Brake Press Operator to join a leading manufacturing company in Melbourne’s South East.

This is an excellent opportunity ( you may need to do some overtime during the day and weekend, but no compulsory) for a skilled operator looking for stable, ongoing work with a well-established leading Laser companies.

Previous Brake press experience is essential along with the right attitude is! We specializes in laser cutting and brake press operation for various clients.

Reporting to the Production Manager you will be part of a dedicated team of experience, who love what they do and enjoy coming to work everyday.

If you're able to read engineering drawings, understand tolerances, good use of measuring equipment and have a mechanical aptitude we want to hear from you!

Candidates with the following skills is preferred.

Have at least 3-5 years of experience in setting/ programming and operating Brake Press machines with own in-house software (Delem Controllers preferably)

Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running as this role will require minimal supervision

Previous experience in folding of stainless, aluminium & mild steel is essential.

Proven experience in setting and operating folding machines.

Must be able to read, interpret drawings and use measuring equipment

Must be flexible and adaptable to work in other areas of the business if need.

Forklift licence is a requirement.

Must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol test as part of the requirements on successful employment

The successful candidate will need to be physically fit as manual handling is involved.
