We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and able to consistently produce high-quality dishes in line with our restaurant’s standards.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with menu specifications. Ensure all dishes are cooked to the required quality and portion standards.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by following all safety and hygiene standards. This includes proper handling and storage of food, maintaining kitchen equipment, and following cleaning schedules.

Assist in monitoring stock levels, manage stock orders of any shortages or issues with kitchen and service supplies.

Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared efficiently and on time. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure orders are completed correctly and promptly.

Contribute to menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements to existing ones.

Skills & Experience:

Must be a qualified Cook with at least three years of experience in a kitchen environment.

Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations.

Good communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff and service team.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Working Conditions:

Work in a busy, high-pressure kitchen environment.

Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, may be required.
