Administration & Sales Support

Play Workshop is a commercial designer, supplier and builder of natural timber playground equipment and play spaces throughout NSW and beyond. We are looking for a dedicated, energetic Administration & Sales Support person to work closely with our Director, Play Workshop Sales and Design team, other management, Contractors, Clients, and suppliers/manufacturers. This role would suit an administration “all-rounder”, with proven experience across a variety of business functions.

Type of employment:

This is a Full-time role of 38 hours per week.

The role reports directly to the Managing Director, Russell Troy.

Location:

The role is based at our Silverwater office/workshop – 20 Churchill Street, Silverwater.

Rate of Pay:

Your salary will be $75,000 - $85,000/year + Superannuation, based on experience.

Main Responsibilities:

The role includes but is not limited to:

Develop and manage all administrative systems and duties within Play Workshop

Handling and reporting of initial customer enquiries

Assisting the Sales and Design Team with small quotations and the preparation of large project quotations and tenders

Processing of orders, including liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and Play Workshop staff to finalise project details

Customer service, care and support, including regular communication with Clients, Suppliers and Subcontractors over the phone and email

Maintaining the “EQS Register” (Enquiries, Quotes and Sales Register) and generating weekly/monthly reports

Work with management team toward continuous improvement of Play Workshop processes and systems

Providing other general administrative support for the Sales, Accounts and Operations teams

Assistance with HR administration

Manage any matters relating to building administration or services within the office area, and basic level of internal IT support

Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate IV in Business Admin or relevant experience

5+ years previous experience in a similar role/industry

Proven experience in a broad role with a variety of tasks/responsibilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Suite, Xero accounting software and Quickbooks Timesheets

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Self-starter, disciplined, highly organised and committed to meet deadlines

High level attention to detail

Ability to prioritise and multi-task

Ability to work as part of a very small team

Performance Goals:

Ensuring all sales and project enquiries are responded to quickly and reported accurately

Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time

All weekly and monthly reports on time and accurate

Work with management staff to make continuous, on-going improvements to our processes and systems

Professional communication with clients, suppliers and fellow employees at all times

Happy and well-informed customers
