About the role

Andrews Partners - Chartered Accountants' are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Marrickville, NSW. This full-time role will see you providing strategic taxation and accounting services to our diverse client base, with a focus on driving business growth and delivering exceptional client service.

What you'll be doing

Manage a client base and liaise with your clients

Prepare and lodge business and personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients

Provide proactive tax planning advice to minimise client tax liabilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly BAS and annual financial statements

Liaise with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions

Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the accounting team

Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards

What we're looking for

A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

CPA or CA qualified (preferred)

5+ years' experience

Strong technical skills in tax planning, compliance and business advisory

Excellent client service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships

Experience in supervising and developing more junior team members

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
