About the role
Fixed term temporary opportunity to be accountable for the delivery of multi-disciplinary safe evidence based, patient centred neonatology services as well as providing clinical services within the Grantley Stable Neonatal Unit. The Clinical Director will also be operationally responsible for the delivery of effective, innovative and provide fiscal oversight of neonatology services at RBWH
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide professional leadership to the Neonatology consultants, advanced trainees and junior medical staff and ensure that their professional development needs are met and that their professional development plans are completed on schedule.
- Ensure high quality, timely and accurate clinical documentation occurs in the unit and that patient data is managed appropriately.
- Monitor service demands, and identify and develop new funding opportunities to enhance and grow the physical and clinical capability of the unit.
