We are looking for a compassionate and highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team, providing essential services in the community. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to deliver high-quality in-home physiotherapy care as part of our Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care & NDIS programs.
As a Community Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals enhance their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. The areas covered include various suburbs in the South East region of Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
In-home Physiotherapy: Conduct thorough assessments and deliver tailored treatments to clients with diverse needs.
Personalized Rehabilitation Plans: Develop and implement effective strategies to improve mobility, function, and independence.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for each client.
Home Care & Short-Term Restorative Care: Provide essential support to clients enrolled in these programs, ensuring their rehabilitation goals are met.
Education & Support: Empower clients, their families, and caregivers with knowledge about mobility strategies and rehabilitation techniques.
Clinical Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for each client interaction.
About You:
Qualifications: A degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA.
Experience: Proven background in community physiotherapy, including experience with Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage diverse client needs.
Requirements: A valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a current police check.
