Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.
YOUR ROLE
As an Assistant Facilities Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the management and maintenance of facilities at Myambat. You will assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, coordinating maintenance activities, and liaising with contractors and stakeholders.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that supports essential operations for the Australian Defence Force.
Located at our Myambat site, on Wanaruah and Kamilaroi land, your role will be –
Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
Support the development and monitoring of facility maintenance schedules
Conduct regular inspections, identify defects, and coordinate necessary repairs or servicing
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and Defence representatives to ensure maintenance activities align with Australian Standards
Manage site access, inductions, work permits, and contractor activities
Operate vehicles and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as licensed
YOUR EXPERIENCE
knowledge of facilities management and safety regulations
Proven ability to work collaboratively in small teams
Experience coordinating industrial site maintenance activities
Experience within the defence and/or warehouse environment would be highly advantageous
