As the Operational Officer you will provide efficient and effective linen service duties, including production and distribution of linen to Linen Service clients, achieving efficiency whilst maintaining a safe work environment and delivering a balanced workflow that will meet our customer requirements.
What you'll do
You will:
- Feed linen into production equipment to fold and iron
- Hand fold and pack clean linen
- Have general cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, rubbish collection and removal in all areas of the facility
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Demonstrates ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment
- Has the ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff
Please be aware this is a manual handling position requiring:
- repetitive manual handling of laundry items
- feeding linen into machines
- handling linen items
- sorting soiled linen
This position will be rostered for 9.5 hours a day, 4 days a week over Monday to Saturday, including public holidays.
