As a Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner at Educational Case Management you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex behaviours and needs.

As a valued Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner at Educational Case Management you will:

Provide evidence- based therapies (training provided) through different types of service delivery including individual and group

Receive supervision (internal and/or external)

Drive your own professional development from your allocated Professional Devlopment Funds that meets your clinical passion and specialty interests

Administer screeners and assessments and create quality clinical reports and therapy plans

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach

Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments to identify the functions and triggers of challenging behaviours

Develop and implement tailored positive behaviour support plans that empower individuals to develop adaptive skills and self-regulation

Provide training and coaching to support workers, families and carers to effectively implement behaviour support strategies

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support interventions, making adjustments as needed

Maintain detailed case notes and records in line with organisational and regulatory requirement

SELECTION CRITERIA

A Tertiary qualification in Psychology or related Field with Positive Behavioural Support certification

Eligibility to provide NDIS services as a Behavioural Support Practitioner

Extensive knowledge of positive behaviour supports principles and restricted practices

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders

A valid driver’s license

Experience in working with children, adolescence, and families.

A collaborative, enthusiastic, and client-focused approach.
