Are you detail-oriented and passionate about the screen acting industry? We are seeking a proactive and reliable Receptionist to become a vital part of our team at Screenwise.
About Us: Screenwise is a leading registered training organisation dedicated to nurturing talent in screen acting. We offer Australia’s only government accredited full-time Advanced Diploma of Screen Acting. Our small team works collaboratively to inspire and support the next generation of Australian film and TV stars. Located just a minute's walk from Central Station, our boutique school with vibrant and intimate studios is a hub for students and industry professionals alike.

Your Role: As the Receptionist, you will support the General Manager and work closely with our Principal, Trainers, Students, and the Public. Your responsibilities will include:
Opening (and closing) the studios.
Answering the phone.
Preparing studios for daily classes and ensuring they are clean.
Managing student attendance records and following up on absences.
Managing the calendar and studio schedules.
Assisting the General Manager to confirm tutors.
Work with Accounts to ensure all payments are confirmed and invoices are processed on time.
Responding to enquires and processing applications.
Oversee studio hire and private tuition.
Oversee Screenwise short courses.
Ad hoc tasks.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
Proficiency in Mac OSX, Microsoft Office and Zoom.
Excellent email communication, spelling, and grammar skills.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Trustworthy, reliable, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
The ability to multi-task.
Familiar with basic camera equipment.
Trustworthy and reliable.
Added Bonus but not a Prerequisite:
Interest or knowledge of the film and TV industry.
Experience working in an RTO.
The position is: Full-time, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
