About the Role
As a Youth Development Casual, you will support the delivery of engaging programs and events that empower young people in Darebin. Working closely with Youth Services staff, you will:
• Create safe and inclusive spaces where young people can connect, learn and participate in activities which promote education, employment, arts, recreation and wellbeing
• Assist in delivering youth programs, activities and events across Darebin
• Support young people’s active participation and connection to services
• Work collaboratively within the broader Youth Services team
Skills & Experience
• First Aid and CPR (Level 2) required
• Current Working with Children’s Check
• Experience working with young people in group settings
• Understanding of youth participation and community development
• Understanding of issues facing young people and appropriate service responses
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
