WIRTGEN AUSTRALIA seeks a Field Service Technician to join our Emu Plains Service team. This position will work across all Wirtgen Group brands with the role requiring flexibility with the ability to work autonomously. A self motivated and driven individual would be highly regarded. This role is based at our premises in Emu Plains, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of Wirtgen Group equipment;
• Preparation of new machine build requirements;
• Commissioning/training of Wirtgen Group machinery;
• Diagnose machine issues or customer complaints and assist in finding solutions;
• Conduct machine inspections;
• Provide a professional customer service and care attitude at all times;
• Assist in the training of Apprentices and other staff as required;

Qualifications and Experience

• Australian/New Zealand recognised trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical);
• Proven experience within a Service Technician/Light Vehicle Mechanic role for minimum 2 years;
• Unencumbered Drivers License;
• Basic computer skills;
• Must be able to communicate well with co-workers and customers;
• Must be able to work under pressure;
• Clear problem solver;
• High attention to detail;
• Willing to learn and take direction.

The ideal candidate will also need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and obtain a police clearance.
