Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and support the Roads and Civil Construction Works Team in delivering road construction, repairs, and maintenance.

Plan and implement scheduled works efficiently, ensuring quality outcomes and best use of resources.

Approve team timesheets, manage leave, and maintain optimal staffing levels.

Operate and maintain plant and equipment safely and effectively.

Ensure strict adherence to WHS practices, signage requirements, and Council standards.

Participate in toolbox and leadership meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Work collaboratively across departments including Parks & Gardens, Waste Transfer, and Compliance (Dog & Cat Management and Marina).

On-Call Requirement: The role includes regular participation in the on-call roster, supporting after-hours responses to urgent works or community issues. A strong commitment to reliability and availability during on-call periods is essential.
