About the role

Our boutique childcare/preschool centre seeks a full-time Diploma qualified educator to join our team in Berowra Heights.

As an Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children in our centre-based childcare facility.

What you'll be doing

Implement the approved learning framework to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences to children.

Observe, document and assess children's learning and development to inform program planning.

Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community.

Ensure a safe, clean and well-maintained learning environment

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through active participation in team meetings and professional development

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Experience working in a similar childcare or early learning environment

Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for supporting children's learning and development

Flexible, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality care

Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification

Our boutique centre runs for 3-6 year olds (we will introduce 2-year-olds who are siblings in the future). It is a respected provider of early childhood education and care services in the Berowra Heights community. It has been so for the last 5 years.
