We’re looking for a GP (VR or Non-VR) to step into a part-time role that supports a patient community often overlooked—people with complex mental health needs who can’t safely live in the broader community.

You’ll be delivering primary healthcare in a secure, multidisciplinary facility—not a prison, but a place of care, rehabilitation, and respect. This role suits a doctor who’s curious, capable, and committed to work that matters.

The Position

Located within The Park Centre for Mental Health, just outside Ipswich (QLD), you’ll work alongside a small and experienced allied health team to provide general health services to 125 patients living on site.

This is a well-resourced, structured service environment—your medical expertise is valued and supported.

Location: West Moreton Health Service, QLD

Setting: Secure mental health facility (non-correctional)

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays (preferred)

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Team Includes: Physio, dietitian, podiatry, dentistry, optometry, specialist nurse visits

No after-hours or on-call required

29 April – 5 June 2025
(Short block, high impact. Ideal for doctors seeking variety or a change of pace.)

Non-VR GP: $1,650/day

VR GP: $2,150/day
