💰 Rate: $1800/day
🕒 Roster: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm, no on-call
✈️ Logistics: Flights, private transport & accommodation included

About the Role

🩺 Be part of a pivotal service transition to Aboriginal community control.
🤝 Provide culturally safe primary care within a multidisciplinary nurse-led clinic.
📋 Focus on CDM and preventative care—remote area nurses and DMO service handle acute presentations and after hours emergencies

About the Location

🌄 Gunbalanya (Oenpelli) is a large Aboriginal community of around 1,200 residents in West Arnhem Land.
🏞️ Located just 60km north of Jabiru, it borders Kakadu National Park and is surrounded by spectacular wetlands and escarpments.
🎨 A centre for Kunwinjku art, the renowned Injalak Arts Centre offers locally made paintings, weaving, and guided tours with Traditional Owners.
🏕️ Weekend getaways to Mt Borradaile are possible via Davidson’s Arnhemland Safari Lodge, offering exclusive wilderness experiences and sacred rock art tours.
🏪 Local facilities include a service station, supermarket, butcher, police station, childcare, aged care, sports and social club, and a 25-metre swimming pool.

Requirements

✅ Specialist AHPRA registration
✅ Full working rights in Australia
✅ Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM
✅ Indigenous Health experience
