The Role
Reporting to the CEO, your overarching objective is to contribute meaningfully to strategic planning and drive the people, culture, capability, brand and governance functions for Comlink Australia. Ensuring people are supported and developed to deliver best practice person-centred services and achieve Comlink Australia’s mission and strategic direction, your goal is to lead continuous improvement practices and effective business operations to deliver high-quality and socially impactful services. This position ensures inter-departmental collaboration beyond individual portfolios, particularly in carrying out orgnaisational development, continuous improvement, and risk management processes for an expanding organisation. It is important to note that the role can be located in either Melbourne or Brisbane or Sunshine Coast.
You Bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations, governance, safety, or a related field.
Comprehensive knowledge in culture, brand, identity and risk with extensive experience in an executive leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and support multi-disciplinary teams and experience working with executive teams and board of directors.
Is relatable and engaging with highly developed interpersonal, communication skills and emotional intelligence with the proven ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders and connect with people.
A thorough understanding of using change management methodologies to enhance operational efficiencies and implement organisational change.
Demonstrated ability to combine business and operations knowledge with a human services approach while balancing operational and strategic ways of working.
Ideally, sound understanding of specialised service delivery within diverse groups, specifically Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, CALD, Veterans, Disability, Mental Health, LGBTI+ and/or Homelessness.
Knowledge of, and experience in the community services, preferably aged care or disability sectors.
Ability to travel regularly between Melbourne and Brisbane/Sunshine Coast.

This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to achieve something great for the aged community! You will be afforded a $197K base salary plus fully maintained vehicle, up to 10% bonus, superannuation. As Comlink is a not-for-profit organisation, you have the opportunity to benefit from salary packaging options.
